Dear Ernie:
You have doubtless heard, through that very
well-developed underground that you seem to have, of
the recent WRA reorganization which involves moving
the San Francisco regional office to Washington for
the most part. I am leaving this weekend and because
I am so pressed for time I doubt that I shall be able
to see you. In many ways I regret leaving San Francisco.
The work has been very interesting and my associations
have been very pleasant.
Kdgar Bernhard arrived Monday. As I told you,
he will be in charge of a small legal unit to assist
in the evacuee property work on the West Coast. He will
be looking you up very shortly and I am sure that you
two wili get along famously.
I hardly need to say that knowing you has been
most pleasant and your cooperation in keeping me posted
on litigation and other matters has been appreciated.
I hope that our paths may cross again soon. |
Very truly yours,
A
Edwin kk. Ferguson
Regional Attorney
