SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1
CONTRABAND
In paragraph 6, Proclamation No. 3, this head-
quarters, dated March 24, 1942, it was ordered that
from and after March 31, 1942, no person of Japanese
ancestry shall have in his possession or use or operate
at any time or place within anv of Militarv Areas 1 to
6, inclusive, as established and defined in Public
Proclamation Nos. 1 and 2, any of the itens enumerated
in said paragraph.
All persons affected by the said order and who
have not heretofore complied therewith, are instructed
thet they Shall deliver any of the items enumerated in
Said paragraph into the custody of the nearest office
of the United States Emplovment Service for disposition.
