friendse John was born and oducated in this country and I have
sonfidence thet he is a loyal Ameriean citizens
Be and his brother Bill operated a smtll eroaory store
between the dealaration of war and the svacuation and were
industrious and friendly so that their business prospereds
John showed hiuself to be @ serious minded youne man and eapable
of garrying his share of tie load as a productive citizon.
