Dr. Joe. Goodman,
1627 Post Street,
San Francisco, Valifornia.
My dear Dr. Soca:
I have a letter from Miss Sakei at re-location center in Topaz, Utah, request-
ing thet certain personal belongings which she has stored in the building at
the corner of Octavia and Post Streets, formerly occupied by the Japanese
Church and young people's group be taken by you for her. This letter was dated
October 10th, anc at that time she said she was writing you immediately about -
it. Since receiving her letter I have been expecting a call from you about7end
I am wondering whether she changed her mind or whether there was some other ar-
rangement that was desired. If she has written to you and you desire to get
the things it will probably be necessary for you to get' in touch with the people
who are occupying the building or let me know when you were going to find it
convenient to call for them becsuse the folks who are living there are away a
good part of the time. Generally you can get the woman who is living at 1516
Post St., where these particular things are stored I understand, during the
middle of the day, but in the early part of the morning and in the late after-
noon she is not there. She and her husband would both be home, however, pretty
much in the evening. In order to facilitate the matter, and inasmuch as the
property is left there in my custody, if you would let me know in advance when
you were going I would go over and have the things set apart so that there
would be no difficulty in their being identified and your -o them out with
the least amount of eee |
Awaiting your word, I a
