Dear Kelley:


Herewith are two copies of the Senate bill 101) with the picture


of the grizzly; one is for you and one for Bob Orr. The subject is


creating some interest as you may have seen in the newspapers. The


UP teletype out of Sacramento contains some dialogue in the Senate


where the gentlemen were inquiring into the number of claws on the


bearts foot. I presume you operated in respect to this matter some~


what as the original on the flage If we have to defend the position


we might even have to add a claw or so} bs


Tell Bob Orr I will work over the material on "Clubfoot" and


return it to him. There is much more to the story in later years


but still inconclusive. :
