Dear Kelly:
I am just letting loose of the bear's tail---a last communication has come
from Dre Bowman regarding a few detailse Herewith are the 2 color sketches.
I favor the "B" portrait and suggest you do the final with about the browns
indicated. I think a little more shadow is needed on the body. As to details:
ae The eye can turn slightly to the left.
be Leave a bit of white on the tongue. (Actually it was probably the color
of crushed berry juicet)
Ce Put 12 clumps of dark on the grass. |
de The claws should be light-they are really "horn colortedo the best you cane
Dre Bowman advises that the flag manufacturers will make adjustments in design
to compensate for viewing the "btar" at a distance.
Tevis and I are using Ursus californicus to designate the state mammal.
Dr. Bowman needs the final color rendering poco pronto. Nuf seds
Sincerely,
acy I. San
