Reginaldo del Valle was a prominent Mexican American politician and civil servant. He served in the Calif. State Assembly (1879-1880) and Senate (1882-1886). He was a member of the Board of Water and Power Commissioners for the City of Los Angeles (1908-1929) and was instrumental in the construction of the Owens River aqueduct.
