Folder MS-3580-1387 of the ACLU of Northern California Fred Korematsu case file records contains legal documents and correspondence pertaining to the case argued before the California courts and the Supreme Court in Korematsu v. United States (1944), challenging the constitutionality of Executive Order 9066. Included in the folder are letters between ACLU of Northern California director Ernest Besig and Fred Korematsu, from when Korematsu was incarcerated at Tanforan Assembly Center and Topaz, and later when he was working and living in Salt Lake City, Utah.
