Dear Fred:
Thanks for the letter of liovember 7, Since hearing fron
you, I have seen reports that thousands of defense workers
have been laid off in Salt Lake City during the last couple
of weeks, I hope the unsatisfactory labor conditions in
the city have not affeeted your job.
Zi am sorry to hear you got the "flu." I wouldn't be too
discouraged about it because we even have "flu" in San
Franciseds
There's nothing mew on your case, The Cireuit Court of
Appeals stillhas it under consideration, and goodness
lmows then they will hand down a decision, In the meantime,
the Endo case has reached the Cirouit Court, and it ought
to be argued sometime next February or early in March,
lr, Collins is 6.k., but he is exceptionally busy and I
don't see as much of him as I did before, By the way,
what's happened to your family? Where is your brother
who attended Cornell?
